Refund policy

• We accept returns and exchanges within 14 days from day  of delivery for store credit only. 

• Items must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition with all tags/labels attached.

• Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective. 
  

• Please note: $12.99 restocking/handling fee will be deducted  from your gift card amount. 
• We DO NOT issue refunds to the original payment method. 

• To start a return, you can contact us at houseofajokehelpline@gmail.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 1162 Osterman Ave. Deerfield, IL. 60015. 
  
  If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label (Note: you are responsible for this payment), as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards, PR items, or promotional items,pop up shop purchases, international orders, missing, lost, or stolen packages.

If your tracking shows  " Delivered" but you have not received your package. 

Contact the shipping carrier  to open a missing package claim. Email us the claim number. We cannot assist until the claim is filed, as carriers require customer to initiate it. 

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item with the store credit you will be provided.

Return Window.

After submitting return or exchange request , you have 3 days to ship your package. If it is not shipped within 3 days, the request will be automatically  voided. 

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’will receive a gift card/ store credit in your email within 7- 10 business days. 
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, and you did not get a store gift card in your email,  please contact us at houseofajokehelpline@gmail.com.
